Organic Granola

3 Cups Organic Oatmeal

2/3 Cup Organic Coconut Oil

1 Cup Organic Dried Cherries

1 Cup Organic Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

1 Cup Organic Dried Figs or Apricots

1 Heaping Cup Organic Macadamia Nuts

1/2 Cup Raw Honey

1 Tsp. Organic Cinnamon

1 Tsp. Carmodon

1 Tsp. Salt ( NTM)

1 Tsp. Nutmeg

 

Combine oatmeal, spices and salt. Melt the coconut oil and drizzle over your mixture and stir well. Now add the nuts and coconut flakes and drizzle the honey over top. Mix well. Spread the mixture on top of a large baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes at 350, removed from oven and stir and turn over mixture and brown another 10 minutes. Cool and mix in the dried fruits. Store in a jar with lid and enjoy a fresh granola with no harmful ingredients. I like to add a scoop of vanilla protein powder and my homemade almond milk when I make a bowl prior to my workouts!
