Sourdough Crust Pizza

 

Crust:

1-1/2 Cups Fresh Sourdough Starter(fed at least 4-12 hours prior)

4-5 Tbsp Organic Coconut or Olive Oil

1 Tsp NTM Salt

1-1/4 Cups Organic Flour(Jovial Einkorn)

  

Toppings:

Homemade Organic Tomato Sauce

Organic Mozzarella Cheese

Organic Jalapeno

Organic Yellow Onion

Organic Black Olives

Pepperoni Nitrate Free

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 500 degrees

Mix together the starter, 1 tablespoon of the oil, salt and your flour. Add more flour a little at a time to form a dough ball pizza consistency. Allow the dough to rest 30 min. It may rise a little or it may not. Roll it out into your circle using extra flour to prevent sticking. Bake it for 7 min. Remove crust from oven and brush with remaining oil which will help the crust from getting soggy.Add your toppings and bake until the crust browns and the cheese melts. I let sit for five minutes before slicing or removing from my cast iron pizza pan. My friend Diana once said, " eating something homemade is way better than buying from a store or restaurant."
